Stratford Republicans at the Main Street Festival

The Stratford Republican Town Committee sponsored a dunk tank at the Stratford Main Street Festival on June 1, 2013. The dunk tank raised $820.00 all of which went to benefit the Bunell High School and Stratford High School Post Prom parties, with each high school receiving $410.00. We would like to thank everyone who made this gift posible by contributing to the dunk tank this year. These Post Prom parties provide a safe place for our youth to go after prom, which we believe to be of great benefit to our community. As a result we’d like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all those involved in the Post Prom Parties for ensuring our young adults have a safe environment on their special night.Again thank you to all of those who made our gift possible this year.

In a clear and decisive manner, the Stratford Electorate supported the Republicans by giving them a sweeping super majority on the Town Council and a vote of confidence to lead our town for another two years.

“The Stratford Democrats declared this election was a mid-term report card on the Harkins Administration and the Republican lead Council. Well the grades are in and clearly the people of Stratford gave the Republicans stellar marks.” Chairman Lou DeCilio stated. “The Harkins Administration and the Republican lead Council were dealt a bad hand when they took office and are doing everything in their power to fix the mess the former mayor left behind. The results of this election show the people of Stratford understand the Republican message and support doing the right thing while the Democrats remain out of touch with reality by their continued support of self-serving candidates.”
